Reporting to the Assistant Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Services Manager is responsible for managing the programs and staff of the Budget. This includes providing specialized technical assistance in comprehensive financial studies and the development and monitoring of financial impacts to the City’s budgetary operations. The Financial Services Manager is responsible for the City’s operations and capital improvement budgets and the development of City revenue and expense forecasts.

Minimum Qualifications
A combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a closely related field, and five years of increasingly responsible financial analysis, economic forecasting, and professional accounting experience.
Two years of experience in direct supervision or leading and overseeing the work of professional financial staff is required.
Experience in a California local government agency is preferred. A Master’s degree in business or public administration is desirable.
License: Possession of or ability to obtain a valid class C driver license or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
