Location: Rochester, MN
Duration Of Role: 13 week – contract
Pay: $32-33 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Marketing Specialist/Traffic Manager executes projects end-to-end ensuring that all initiatives flow efficiently between teams. Proactively anticipates and manages issues and recommends solutions, communicates project details to hold others accountable, and conducts final project analysis. Works directly with marketing staff at various levels to manage project deliverables day-to-day, and to create streamlined processes. Makes Intake Forms into actionable project plans and effectively navigates the development of timelines to ensure deadlines are being met, dependencies are established, and risks are mitigated. Sets and diligently manages project deadlines and deliverables with cross-functional teams, while understanding and enforcing responsibilities and contributions of project team members. Finds efficiencies in workflows and makes updates to project management software as needed. Facilitates clear and consistent communication across the project team and leadership, including running team meetings, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and other agile activities. Owns agenda creation, recaps and distributes meeting notes/feedback/follow-ups where needed. Creates reports to highlight successes, identify areas for improvement, and builds a stronger process for the team. Performs additional job-related functions as detailed by immediate supervisor.
Skills
Inspires confidence in the team about project management and success. Five+ years of demonstrated ability proactively managing an agency workflow, internal agency, or cross-functional teams utilizing agile marketing practices is required. Familiarity with “Marketing Agile” methodologies, and the ability to educate teams regarding agile project management practices, methods, and standards a must. Workfront experience is required. Critical thinker, with the ability to proactively balance multiple requests, articulate trade-offs for competing priorities, and appropriately identify and escalate issues to ensure delivery of world-class creative products will be key for success. Exhibits effective leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple teams within the organization. Demonstrates flexibility to equally balance deadlines and processes in a fast-paced environment – with an extremely high level of detail and organization. Strong marketing and business acumen with the ability to work with people from different functional backgrounds and build relationships across the department and organization a must. Strong, succinct communication skills – written and oral required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree with five plus years of experience in Agency Project Management. Workfront experience (or similar tool) required.
