Position Purpose:
Compile and analyze financial information for the company. Lead various financial projects.
Leverage knowledge of Medical claims data and Provider contracting and payment methods, to assist our Provider Contracting team to set appropriate rate in our agreements
Organize assignments with tight timelines and changing priorities.
Highly involved in monthly Capitation payment process including auditing and validating data prior to payments occurring. Will work with internal staff and external Providers to educate them on our capitation process.
Participate in several month end processes including risk settlement reporting and liability review.
Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management
Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
Handle complex and high level financial analysis
Present and discuss analysis with upper management

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Previous understanding the Oregon Provider Market is preferred. Knowledge of claims processing, Provider Contracting, and general revenue cycle processes are preferred. SQL, Teradata, and Power BI knowledge preferred
