The Role
Senior Vice President, Marketing
As our SVP, Marketing, you’ll report to the CEO and be at the center of defining and executing Cboe’s global marketing strategy and product positioning to help fuel corporate growth. In this role you will provide deep domain knowledge in derivatives and product marketing, as well expertise in global brand elevation and management.
The SVP, Marketing will manage and oversee Cboe’s global marketing team and will set objectives, manage budget, monitor performance, and assess outcomes. This leader will establish a vision and lead marketing strategies, compelling brand campaigns, , and drive traffic to increase customer acquisition and retention rates.
This role will be accountable for identifying strategic objectives and business opportunities while implementing key metrics to track investments and marketing results. This leader possesses refined communication and leadership skills, with proven success in implementing innovative marketing campaigns across a diverse range of marketing channels.

Responsibilities:
Global Brand – Increase global brand awareness through development and implementation of a cohesive brand and marketing plan. Lead integrated marketing across channels; ensure consistent brand voice, clear creative direction, optimized messaging by channel, and media campaign effectiveness across channels.
Product Marketing – Plan and execute well-performing, well-coordinated product launches of new and existing products, entry into new markets, and other key business initiatives.
Drive Product Adoption –, Collaborate cross functionally to successfully implement and manage multi-channel campaigns to build equity, increase awareness, activate demand, and drive lead generation fueling our business development pipeline.
Market Intelligence – Understand market opportunity and segments, customer personas, and competitive intelligence to inform product marketing strategies.
Demand Generation Support – Develop strategy, messaging, and tools to support the demand generation teams (marketing and sales/business development) through developed channel, segment, and marketing strategies to enable targeted marketing.
Revenue Enablement – Support the sales enablement team with clear strategies, messaging, and tools to improve sales and partner productivity and value.
ROI Analysis – Perform deep analysis to better understand our customer segments and behaviors to improve the effectiveness of campaigns; Communicate performance to internal leadership and stakeholders to promote shared understanding of product marketing strategy, ROI, and opportunities.
Cross-team Collaboration – Enhance and develop relationships with internal business partners including legal, web, sales, and product development teams to create and implement processes to help increase/improve sales and marketing efforts.
Requirements:
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in marketing with at least 10 years of manager level experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications is preferred.
Success managing and scaling marketing teams in high growth environment and has developed and grown brands in both B2B and B2C capacities
Deep skills in marketing campaign development, execution and leveraging data and analytics to improve results and increase ROI
Ability to connect with and successfully collaborate with a diverse constituency: from key Cboe clients and partners to vendors and across cross functional departments internally
An adaptable, energetic, and results-driven professional that also brings creative energy and courage to think outside of the box
Proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas with the ability to craft, tailor, and amplify across various internal and external stakeholders, mediums, and platforms.
Strong knowledge and experience in digital marketing and tools, including SEO, email, paid social media, google ads, Salesforce, and Pareto
Entrepreneurial self-starter who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively in a high energy, fast-paced company environment
Excellent writing and organizational skills, with a track record of delivering exceptional work product under time constraints.
The ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals.
