Position Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day oversight, supervision, and management of a designated Strategic Partner and Strategic Partner Program. The core responsibilities are risk management and relationship support, but also include ongoing reviews of marketing product offerings, credit, operations, compliance, finance, policies and procedures, account management, vendor management, and technology. The Program Manager interacts with and is supported by each respective department within the Bank and third-party resources (i.e. Outside Counsel) required to manage the Strategic Partner Programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Primary point of contact for each assigned Strategic Partner
Attend Strategic Partner meetings to discuss bank opportunities; identify client needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
Work with the Strategic Partner to obtain and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting metrics
Work closely with each respective department that is required (or third-party) for ongoing oversight, program and product testing, reviews, and monitoring of the Partner
Liaise with the Bank’s Credit Department to review all aspects of the Strategic Partner’s credit program, including initial and ongoing review and approval of credit policies, scorecards, and underwriting processes
Support Bank management during regulatory exams or internal audits
Support Business Development with onboarding new Strategic Partners as assigned
Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients and internal management
Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change; manage the process of innovative change effectively
Effective project management: apply bank methodology, enforce standards and bank policies, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion and accurate storage of finished projects
Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
Provide professional guidance to assist coworkers in career and leadership development; inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence
Participate in development opportunities including training
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients
Assertive self-starter, with exceptional professional verbal/written skills, who is highly organized and able to work independently to finish assigned projects
Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking)
Proactive mindset in developing CCBank and the Business Development team
Efficient and very well organized
Good people-management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well in a team or individually
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field OR equivalent work experience
Work experience in finance or banking is a plus
Project management experience is preferred, especially skill in coordinating with other departments and the ability to analyze complex issues with strong attention to detail
Compensation
The salary offered for this position starts at $48,000 annually based on the applicants’ qualifications and experience. Benefits package includes Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, life and disability insurance, supplemental insurance, EAP, wellness reimbursement program, phone reimbursement and PTO. Quarterly bonuses are available.
