Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Maryland Heights, MO.
The CFO of Tapestry Solutions reports directly to the International Government and Defense CFO in Boeing’s Global Services business. As a key member of leadership for the subsidiary company, the CFO partners across Tapestry and with Boeing stakeholders to drive business strategy and financial results.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee the financial planning, analysis, contracts, supply chain and end-to-end accounting for the non-fully integrated subsidiary and separate legal entity.
Provide day-to-day leadership support to 4 managers (Finance, Accounting, Contracts and Supply Chain) to maintain alignment to TBC and Tapestry strategic objectives.
Directly oversee 3 subject matter experts for rates/overhead planning, cost policy/compliance and financial integration (FP&A).
Provide strategic and thought leadership to functional and business managers across Tapestry entity.
In partnership with business and functional leaders, develop and drive entity level strategy relative to: Business development, Product investment, Tapestry Total Rewards, and People development.
Oversee management of finance policies and procedures; review Boeing flow down to ensure alignment.
Act as systems owner for finance and accounting related systems.
Coordinate with Boeing and subsidiary counterparts to leverage expertise and collaborate on optimal outcomes.
Lead relationships with internal/external auditors and government regulatory agencies
Review and sign appropriate entity quarterly and annual filings (i.e. employee benefits and 401k management).
Lead special studies and projects to optimize business processes.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales).
3+ year of experience in a leadership role either formally or informally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
Experience developing relationships with business partners
Experience with Long Range Business Planning (LRBP), forecast, and resource planning processes
Demonstrates ability to lead process improvement initiatives
Experience with negotiations or providing persuasive inputs to strategic decisions
Experience managing cost and affordability

Summary pay range: $131,000 – $233,000
