Revenue Integrity Coding Analyst
SUMMARY OF JOB:
Responsible for resolving NCCI, MUE, SSI and other billing edits to expedite clean claims submission to payers. Work closely with clinical/ancillary hospital departments to ensure compliance with government, payer, and internal charge capture policies. Provide correct coding education to all clinical/ancillary departments.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in a hospital setting, clinic setting, or other revenue cycle company
RHIT/RHIA, CCS, CMA, CPC, or other coding/auditing certification required.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD10, CPT, and HCPC coding
Experience with electronic health records
Prior experience working NCCI, MUE, SSI and charge error billing edits
Knowledge of third party payer contracting language and reimbursement terms
Familiar with multiple (widely used) healthcare patient accounting/billing systems
Proficiency with Excel, MS Office Suite, Internet Explorer, and Database Management application software
Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and Charge Description Master
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public
Strong organizational and time management skills
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
