POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic hybrid chief financial officer to join our executive
leadership team in West Palm Beach/Jupiter/Miami – Florida to support the exponential growth of the organization.
The CFO will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy, optimizing financial performance, and
helping us achieve our growth objectives as we expand our operations.
The Chief Financial Officer will be a key business partner to executive leadership and the firm’s
sponsors and partners.
The CFO will be responsible for the firm’s financial reporting, planning, and analysis functions which
include periodic financial reports, organizational reporting, planning, and analysis functions,
organizational budgets, company performance metrics, analysis of capital investment initiatives, and
other ad-hoc reports as required by the firm, its sponsors, or its partners.
Additionally, the CFO will work with senior management to identify and assess strategic business
opportunities including potential strategic partnerships, operational improvements, M&A opportunities,
and capital investments in new business ventures.
The CFO will be comfortable operating with a lean team and leveraging technology, service providers,
and operational resources to ensure an efficient, responsive organization.
This position requires an energized individual who can represent the financial office of the company
through a combination of business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and maturity in a high-trust role.
The successful incumbent will be well-versed in the finance industry and will possess the ability to work
and collaborate effectively within a highly fast-paced and team-centric environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Major Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Lead initiatives within key operational areas, including, but not limited to,
Accounting/Finance, HR, and IT.
Accounting & Tax: Lead day-to-day accounting and financial reporting. Manage financial audits and
work with external auditors to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Oversee tax planning
and compliance.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all SEC and other regulations, guidelines, and reporting
requirements by working with an outsourced fund administrator. Stay up-to-date with changes in
regulations and adapt the fund’s financial practices accordingly.
Investor Relations: Develop relationships with, and provide financial data and insights to, investors.
Fundraising: Participate in fundraising efforts by providing financial data and insights to potential
investors.
Financial Reporting
• Partner with the CEO and firm leadership to support reporting and business planning
requirements;
• Manage the reporting of forecasts and metrics to management;
• Review and deliver critical analysis to senior management on financial forecasts, including a full
analysis of significant areas of risk and a variance analysis
• Lead in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly reporting packages
• Provide hands-on management and be willing to develop and mentor best-in-class finance and
accounting function;
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes while ensuring compliance
with GAAP and other regulatory agencies, financial institutions, and SEC regulations.
• Work closely with the firm’s auditors to ensure a frictionless and efficient audit process;
• Provide ad-hoc reporting to firm sponsors and creditors on an as-needed basis;
Financial Strategy
• Develop and lead financial strategy, budgeting, reporting, tax, and audit efforts, including
ongoing analysis of business operations and treasury functions;
• Develop and lead direction for strategic financial issues and guide management on key financial
business decisions;
• Develop and lead capital structure planning activities and review and provide analysis of the
capital plan. Ensure the capital plan is appropriately reflected in the forecast;
• Partner with senior management to analyze and evaluate potential strategic acquisitions and
divestitures;
Financial Operations
• Manage daily financial operations, including oversight of payroll, cash management, and accounts
payable, and accounts receivable;
• Actively manage liquidity and forecast cashflows;
• Design and develop reports to facilitate the transfer of information and provide timely analytics
to decision-makers;
• Manage all facets of tax operations, including reporting, planning, and compliance.

• Perform detailed due diligence on all portfolio startups for the Venture Capital Firm
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance is a plus;
• CPA or CA Certification;
• 10+ years of relevant financial experience with a minimum of 3 years managing teams of
financial and strategic professionals;
• Relevant experience with asset and investment management especially real estate and venture
capital industries;
• Previous financial leadership role with hands-on experience;
• Demonstrated competence in financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, and general
oversight;
• Strong team-building and team-management skills;
• Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles;
• Understanding of managerial accounting and performance metrics;
• Familiarity with operations and management concepts for medium-sized businesses;
• A bias towards action;
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact across varying levels of
the organization;
• Ability to develop, mentor, and grow employees;
• Exhibit superior organizational habits;
