Aspen is a long-term holding company founded in late 2022. We currently lead two pediatric locations in Southern Maryland, with three locations actively onboarding, and two more soon to follow. In the next three years, we will have 8-25 additional locations in the DMV. We will do this the right way, honoring employees (new and old alike) and legacies, while creating opportunities for our team and providing expanded services for our patients.
Our Director of Finance/Controller will be a key member of the executive management team, reporting to the CEO. As the leader of the finance and accounting teams, you will take ownership of the accounting and finance functions that drive our growth. You will be expected to make decisions regarding the implementation of best finance practices, processes, and positions. You will work closely with a stellar group of investors and the leadership at our portfolio companies. And – you will have the opportunity to build an internal accounting and finance team from the ground up as we grow.
This is a broad role and offers complex challenges for a financial executive with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Your insights will drive key decisions and shape our future strategy. You’ll help with strategic initiatives like building an M&A engine that efficiently finds and acquires a majority stake in exceptional dental practices. You’ll help us with operational initiatives like new practice integration. And you’ll help us with tactical stuff that keeps us going and growing e.g., payroll, budgets, financial reporting, and accounts payable. You’ll closely monitor Tailwater’s financial health, and together we’ll build business systems and processes so the dentists who partner with us can thrive
