The company was founded in 2011 to help small and medium-sized businesses fight the rising cost of employee health benefits. We blazed the trail with financing innovations that reduce the risks in self-insurance and deliver significant savings—and we continue to lead with a growing ecosystem of partners and world-class cost control solutions.
But success is measured by more than dollars alone and we measure ours by the good that comes from knowing that every client and all their employees can count on effective, affordable healthcare for years to come.
Job Title
Vice President of Strategy & Business Development
Department
Cost Containment
Position Summary
At ParetoHealth, our mission is two-fold: we help make self-insurance accessible and less volatile for small to medium-sized employers and then help reduce the cost of healthcare with targeted cost containment solutions and services. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and resourceful Vice President of Strategy & Business Development to join the Cost Containment team and drive the second part of our mission forward. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to join a team on a journey to transform healthcare benefits for small to medium-sized employers and their employees. This high-impact role is responsible for helping to shape and drive Pareto’s cost containment agenda, with a focus on expansion of our point solution and strategic partner portfolio based on data-driven insights, to reduce the cost of healthcare for Pareto’s rapidly growing population. Responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing the full lifecycle of partnerships, this role is integral to driving innovation at scale while also creating and preserving differentiation and value for Pareto and other relevant stakeholders. Reporting to the EVP of Cost Containment, this position will work cross-functionally with other business unit leaders to drive activation of recommended solutions.
