The CFO leads the finance function for the Services organization and will partner with the General Manager and business leaders to drive key finance initiatives and decisions. You will provide leadership to a team of finance managers and professionals to make strategic finance decisions. You will design and drive financial landscape, speed, quality and cost efficiency by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting. Your role will be key in managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies to achieve committed business performance. This position will play a critical role in the day-to-day execution of the Management Operating System (MOS) and provide the Service leadership team with meaningful performance analysis, insights, and recommendations. This position reports to the HBS CFO and will be based in Atlanta.
Lead a global finance team in driving financial performance to ensure financial goals (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash commitments) are met while aligning with corporate policies and procedures.
Lead reporting, forecasting and planning process, including distribution of appropriate financial targets for profitable growth of the various business segments and proactive analysis of the financial statements for opportunities to increase income.
Strategically partner with the Services VP/GM and leadership team to drive profitable growth through analysis, influencing and action on risk assessment, contracting excellence, pricing, business ventures, customer profitability and cost control
Act as a “Chief Operating Officer” to ensure global alignment across functional organizations including Services, Projects operations, Integrated Supply Chain, Sales, IT, HR and Strategic Marketing to achieve business commitments.
Perform market, customer and Project analysis to proactively identify both new opportunities and potential risks to future business performance.
Define, develop and enthusiastically drive process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality and reliability, improve information provided to leadership for business decisions.
Oversee financial closing activities and partner with controllers to ensure accuracy of all finance statements and schedules.
Drive Working Capital Management with a specific focus on reducing past dues and unbilled A/R
Mentor and develop a world class finance team by actively recruiting and promoting talent.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Related fields
15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience which includes prior CFO experience and FP&A preferably in an Industrial multinational
8+ years of experience managing others, including demonstrated success in effectively leading and developing a team
Excellent Analytical Skills – Experience With Project Accounting Preferred
