Position: Chief Financial Officer (part time)

Position Summary & Responsibilities
· Work with a Bridgewater Consulting Group (BCG) Leader to develop budgets, pricing proposals and provide reporting against revenue targets
· Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
· Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
· Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for CEO, COO, and leadership team
· Manage finance personnel and oversee BCG’s financial functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities (ex: GAAP, Financial Accounting Standards Board, Internal Revenue Service, state attorneys general)
· Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization
· Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows
· Develop/Analyze the company’s financials monthly to determine strengths and weaknesses against financial targets
· Develop/review/approve pricing for all opportunities
Required Education, Experience & Skills
· 25 + years of professional experience, including managing the finance and administration of a high-growth organization
· Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, or a similar field.
· Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting, ideally in utility sector
· Experience to include legal, audit, compliance, budget, and resource development
· Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding investment in people and systems
· Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
· Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
· Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
