About the Role
The Finance Manager is responsible for assisting in various financial activities including data gathering, trending, modeling, forecasting, planning / budgeting, and reporting in support of the Digital & Technology function.
Effectively communicating with partners throughout all levels of the organization, this Finance Manager will lead a broad range of involved financial analysis, reporting activities, project profitability analysis, cost tracking, and reporting of a complex corporate function which drives value to the overall business via development projects.
Candidate must reside in commutable distance to Richardson, TX.
What You’ll Do
Leads one or all of the following : budgeting process, forecasting process, tactical planning process, and standard management reporting for both operational and capital expenses.
Ensures that all target dates are met.
Serve as key strategic business partner to supporting function. Effectively communicates both the quantitative and qualitative drivers and key messages;
looks to understand the impact to the overall business and weighs alternatives.
Prepare accurate and timely financial and business analyses, research, and forecasts including demand forecasting, financial and expense performance, rate of return, working capital and investments optimization, and project benefit tracking.
Prepares and submits certain PeopleSoft monthly journal entries related to recharges, reclasses, and other entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Leads special projects. Prepares and delivers presentations for senior management.
Conducts other special financial and business studies and other duties as assigned by management. Produces a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages and pro forma analyses for senior management and planning unit.
Participates in the research, development and preparation of accounting policy and procedures, as required. May act as consultant to management on financial policies, procedures, and applications.

What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field including a minimum of six years related experience.
Apply excellent written and verbal communication skills to accurately explain / report activity. Pronounced organizational and analytical skills.
Provide efficient, timely, and courteous service to customers.
Respond competently to critical issues and work collaboratively with business partners, employees, management, and client groups on projects.
In-depth knowledge of financial terms, principles, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Calculate figures and forecast and prepare budgets.
Comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information and transactions and accounting principles.
Research accounting transactions / issues.
Problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires sophisticated analytical and quantitative skills.
Strong digital literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired.
Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful.
