We are seeking a motivated Labor Relations Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate understands the entertainment payroll space, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and constantly drives towards process improvement and operational excellence.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU
What you will do
Oversee the Labor Relations team in the fulfillment of all Labor Relations responsibilities
Union Contract setup and maintenance in the payroll system
Oversee fringe rate changes and implementation in system
Manage calendar of union contract changes and ensure preparation for and execution of resulting changes
Break down union contracts for system implementation and payroll team communications
Manage the day-to-day flow of the Labor Relations emails
Review benefit agency audits for accuracy and work with clients to resolve and reduce costs of audit findings
Field incoming calls from unions and benefit agencies and assist in resolving issues as needed
Collaborate with other Payroll Operations managers to improve system and processes
Work with Director of Labor Relations to continually improve department performance
Generate monthly reports on Department performance including volume of requests, type of work being performed, and audit findings
Other Labor relations duties as needed

You are a proactive problem solver who operates effectively and independently, even in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity
You have effective time management skills
5-10+ years of related experience with entertainment union agreements e.g work at benefits agency, payroll company or industry accounting.
