Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Program Management, this Program Manager will contribute to the Program Management Office (PMO) portfolio by actively leading multiple projects across the internal Deepwatch organization. This Program Manager will own the cross-functional intake for the PMO, and will prioritize and manage project efforts that are essential to the success of key Deepwatch initiatives across multiple departments.
In this role you’ll get to:
Develop, modify, maintain and manage complex, technically detailed project plans and schedules
Organize and facilitate meetings with internal resource teams and customers
Document and coordinate completion of important decisions and deliverables from meetings and other sources
Develop content for meetings and distribution outside of meetings
Ensure project deadlines are met by holding leadership and project resources accountable to their commitments
Prepare artifacts (i.e., reports, metrics) to communicate program status and provide transparency to all stakeholders
Provide cross-functional regular updates to various levels of the organization, including the Deepwatch leadership team
Ensure stakeholder views are understood and managed to achieve a collective outcome
In the first 90-days, you’ll need to:
30-Days
Meet with internal PMO and cross-functional stakeholders in the Engineering, Delivery, Security, Operations, Finance, People Team organizations
Understand the working processes of the Program Management team, including familiarity with all templates, reporting metrics and communication
Complete all mandatory training
60-Days
Initiate 1+ prioritized projects and begin traditional PMO expected outcomes (i.e., facilitation of meetings, defining project plans, charter and definition of success)
Begin to report on the program and project status utilizing the existing communication standards for the PMO
90-Days
Demonstrate the ability to effectively lead and facilitate multiple project initiatives concurrently across the Deepwatch organization
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
Demonstrate prior success managing complex technical projects and/or programs involving customers, vendors and internal stakeholders in a high-growth environment
Leverage your exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills using Slack, Gmail and Zoom communication platforms
Lead concurrent projects in varying phases and deliver expected project outcomes on-time
Apply your expertise with project/program management tools (i.e., JIRA, Aha) to track and monitor individual project and overall program status
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Program and/or Project Management Certification(s) (preferred), or equivalent work experience
Colorado* Candidates:
For applicants in Colorado, the salary range for this role is $124,000 to $155,000 + bonus + commissions + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
