Assist the Graduate Program Office in managing its operating budget; oversee and approve the budgets for fall policy workshops, course-related expenses, and all graduate summer programs; monitor expenditures of graduate student organizations; review, approve, and reconcile all financial actions related to student support through Princeton’s financial systems.
Work closely with Career Development, Alumni Affairs, Admissions, Curriculum team, Student Affairs, and the Undergraduate Program Office; create and implement systems for financial approval of all payments to graduate students for summer internships and academic year part-time internships; maintain intranet and web content related to these policies.
Coordinate with Associate Director of Student Affairs on awarding and stewarding named fellowships for current students.
Coordinates the logistics for fall policy workshop travel for about 75 graduate students, working closely with the Associate Director of International Travel Safety and Security in the Provost’s office for approvals.
Provide administrative support and financial analysis to periodic reviews of graduate programs.
Assist the Career Development and Alumni Affairs offices in building and maintaining their databases.
Serve as a resource to all graduate and undergraduate program staff on labor accounting issues for SPIA graduate students and for any non-SPIA graduate students hired by the program.

Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of five years of professional work experience.
Strong commitment to nurturing future public policy leaders and ensuring that the School provides exceptional support and service to a diverse student population.
Excellent writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated success in project planning and experience with financial management and budgeting.
Proven ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously, to promote teamwork and collaboration, and to creatively solve complex problems.
Sense of humor, strong integrity, and an entrepreneurial spirit; demonstrated capacity to work under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to engage in strategic program planning.
Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
Familiarity with Concur (or similar financial management system), website management, content management systems, Google Drive, and Google Forms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in public/international affairs, public policy, higher education, or related discipline.
Familiarity with the curriculum of graduate programs in public/international affairs and public policy.
