As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in financial reporting, planning and analysis as well as capital raising. You will evaluate financial performance, study revenue and cost drivers, and work with colleagues across the business to improve financial performance over time. You will have opportunities to support new product launches, develop new sales strategies and assess strategic partnerships. You will also partner with the commercial and development teams to help them better understand the financial implications of their efforts. This is a highly visible role with frequent exposure to senior management. The Finance Manager will report to the VP of Finance. This is a fully remote (virtual) position.
You Can Expect To:
Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to management and the Board of Directors
Execute the financial planning process, including developing and updating monthly and annual budgets as well as longer-term projections
Track monthly and quarterly progress towards booking, pipeline, deployment and hiring goals
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses in partnership with the product, commercial and business development teams
Support capital raising efforts and communicate with existing debt and equity investors as needed
Track monthly and quarterly performance against sales commission plans
Monitor pricing and other key business terms in new customer contracts
Train and develop financial analysts
About You:
7+ years of experience in corporate finance, especially financial planning and analysis
Familiarity with accounting concepts and translating historical to projected results
Experience at a SaaS software, other high tech or healthcare company is preferred
Experience in investment banking or consulting is preferred
Familiarity with venture capital or private equity is preferred
High proficiency in Excel and data manipulation
Intellectually curious with strong problem-solving skills
Collaborative mindset with solid communication skills
Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, complex environment
Self-starter able to drive projects independently
Experience managing and developing people
This position is a remote position and open to applicants in the continental United States.
