Overview:
The Paramount+ Creative Marketing Copywriting team seeks an experienced Copywriter to concept, write, proofread and edit creative assets that position Paramount+ as a leader in premium content, with a focus on the Paramount+ and Showtime bundle. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about media, pop culture and sports, has a relentlessly positive and collaborative approach, and can work cross-functionally with Creative Directors, Project Managers, Lifecycle & Partnership Marketing and Product Design leads to foster alignment on creative vision.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualizing new and exciting ways to speak to the Paramount+ and Showtime bundle audience through push and in-app notifications, Facebook Like campaigns, Instagram Stories, and more.
Crafting text copy for display, pause, and partner assets.
Writing subscriber newsletters, as well as non-subscriber communications.
Writing paid social copy, search copy, affiliate emails, and podcast/audio ads for the bundle as well as for additional campaigns, series, and movies.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years’ demonstrated experience (not including internships) in copywriting, editing, proofreading, media and marketing.
Ability to editorialize and speak to fans in relatable language about their favorite shows, actors, and movies.
Experience with streaming products and film & television preferred.
Excellent writing, communication and collaboration skills.
Strong editing and proofreading skills.
Organized and can lead multiple deadlines with multiple teams.
Able to apply, maintain, and implement in-house style guidelines.
Additional Qualifications:
Able to work within multiple teams and independently.
Easily accept direction and adapt to quick changes and requests.
Confidence taking ownership of multiple projects at once.
Are familiar with Paramount+ and Showtime original series, movies, sports, and live events.
Have experience with AP and Chicago style.
Familiarity with UX writing.
