Job Summary
DerbySoft is looking for a Finance Manager to join its finance team to lead the finance function in the US with primary focus on FP&A.
The position will report to VP of Finance & Operations and will play a key role in building the company’s finance team in the US. This role interacts with all levels of the organization & will own the end-to-end FP&A support to improve the company’s financial performance. You will operate as part of a globally distributed team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the annual planning cycle to develop a comprehensive financial annual plan for the company
Lead the monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior leaders
Develop and maintain financial metrics to support business performance review
Build financial models, analyze trends and initiatives, and perform ad-hoc financial modelling to support business decisions
Drive process improvement through effective business partnering across the finance organization
Develop and lead a new finance team to support company’s globalization strategy
Partner with US operations team to improve finance and business operations in the US office
Manage external 3rd party financial service providers in the country
Experience & Education
Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience with 3+ years demonstrated experience in FP&A
Bachelor’s in Finance related field required; MBA preferred
Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
Mandarin speaking/writing skills a plus
Performance Standards
Advanced financial analytic, modeling, and forecasting skills, with great attention to detail
Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in managing/leading typical corporate FP&A process/activities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences
Strong sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management
Results driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small.
Passion for using data to drive better decision-making
Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and flexible working hours in order to support a global organization
Ability to travel, including overnight stays, to attend business meetings
