AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support Amazon’s Just Walk Out Technology. This position will work closely with senior finance and business leaders to drive product pricing, cost and capital expenditure optimization, financial planning, decision support, and controllership.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of high performing analysts and managers. You will engage with multiple teams including sales, marketing, tech, legal and product management to build the business both in existing markets as well as new ones.
This role offers a rich learning experience and an opportunity to develop professionally. We are a young business, and you will be challenged to weigh in on decisions that have long-term strategic impact, and to produce insightful analytics that help us accelerate growth. You will work closely with business partners and get exposure to senior leaders, and become a subject matter expert. We are looking for individuals who can engage business partners to drive results and who welcome the challenge of building structure and supporting high growth in a fledgling organization with senior management visibility.
Key job responsibilities
Manage financial and operational performance metrics for the business e.g. weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
Be a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable processes to support business growth, specifically supporting our Go to market organization.
Lead key analytical projects and develop insightful analysis and reporting to support decision-making by business stakeholders.
Lead analysis of ongoing business performance, operational plans and communicate results to leadership.
Support financial planning / budgeting /forecasting process and deliverables
Lead efforts for pricing and infrastructure investment decisions
Partner with various finance and business stakeholders to manage the financial needs of the business
Uphold and enforce an environment of strong financial controllership
Advanced/Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Analytic financial modeling skills required
Solid business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results with a focused, pragmatic, approach to decision making
Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
Independent and entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating the ability to work with minimal direction
