As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for actively telling and expanding upon the current MHM brand. You will know the functions of each platform like Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok, LinkedIn and YouTube. How we can develop a loyal audience, and which platform to spend time in. Proficiency in Canva is required. Your strategy will begin with deeply immersing yourself in everything Mental Health Monday stands for and offers, and discerning which elements should manifest where and how, in order to bolster the program’s visibility.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day messaging, monitoring, and moderation of MHM’s social media and directory profiles.
2. Lead the sourcing and creation of micro-content such as photography, animated GIFs, short-form videos in partnership with the design team and through hands on content production suited for each social channel. Daily content to Instagram required.
3. Develop insights into our target audience and their social media usage to inform our overall social strategy and plans.
4. Develop social media content calendars and plan social campaigns.
5. Track performance of social media content, campaigns, community engagement, and overall social presence with regular reporting to the MHM Manager.
6. Develop fundraising strategies through social media donation prompts.
7. Must use our functioning donation opportunities for our viewers and guests during the live videos.
Social Media Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of direct, hands-on social media experience.
2. NationBuilder is our website platform. Platform knowledge is preferred.
3. Demonstrated experience in amplifying brand voice, mission, and vision through social media.
4. Extreme attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly moving environment.
Compensation:
1. Starting at 8 hours/week, may advance up to 15 hours/week @ $ 25.00/hr.
