We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2022. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
As a Human Resources intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:
– Support broader talent initiatives including recruiting, training & development, and diversity/inclusion/engagement
– Partner with senior HR and business leaders to lead initiatives that drive impactful business results
– This role will allow exposure in salary, hourly, and union (where applicable) populations
– Lead additional HR projects as assigned
**EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS**
– US Citizen or Permanent Resident
– Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and prioritization skills
– Creative problem solver
– Self-driven and proactive
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
– Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
– Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
– COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
**EDUCATION**
– Must be currently enrolled full-time in a Master’s degree program with a focus on Human Resources Management
– Preference will be given to University of Illinois School of Labor and Employee Relations students)
– GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
– Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
