For Anna’s, restaurant managers are more than just the brains behind the daily operation of the restaurants; he/she is the leader, peace-keeper, public relations expert and quality control specialist who keeps the restaurant(s) profitable and running smoothly. Senior Manager Responsibilities
Manage Employees
Create a work environment that values and respects employees.
Develop a team and procedures to assist you in the smooth, daily operation of the taqueria.
Recruit, hire, and oversee training for all staff.
Guide and coordinate the work and activities of staff.
Ensure that Anna’s is in compliance with all management laws and regulations.
Possess a working knowledge of Spanish.
Oversee Food Production
Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation, product and service.
Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, and schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages.
Check quality of deliveries of fresh food and supplies
Maintain Facilities and Vehicles
Provide a fresh, pleasant, and comfortable dining environment at this location.
Direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards, and keep appropriate records.
Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards and regulations are obeyed.
Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services.
Create and Maintain Positive Relationships with Customers and Communities
Create a culture of excellent customer service.
Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service.
Promote positive community relations with charities, the local neighborhood, the City of Boston, schools, churches, and organizations.
Perform Administrative Tasks
Maintain employee records and monitor payroll data.
Manage inventory, track staff schedules and pay, and perform other record keeping tasks.
Develop the Business
Help grow and streamline the existing business.

Decision-Making Ability – As the senior restaurant manager you’ll need to make a lot of decisions—because our restaurants are so fast-paced, you’ll need to be able to think on your feet and make quick, practical decisions. You’ll also need to think strategically and make long-term business decisions based on your experience and market knowledge.
Entrepreneurial Business Sense – Though you’ll need to perform the everyday administrative tasks to keep the business running, you will need to approach the whole of the business with an entrepreneurial mindset and spirit. With your growing business and market experience you will be able to see new ideas and opportunities in any and all facets of the business and be willing to take risks to develop them.
