Zurich North America is looking for a Senior Actuarial Consultant / AVP, Actuary I to support our growing Accident, Health, & Travel Strategic Business Unit. Ideally this role would be based out of Zurich’s New York or Schaumburg office but we are also open to this role being based out of any Zurich North America office or 100% virtual.
This role will be filled at either the Senior Actuarial Consultant or AVP/Actuary I level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
This critical Actuarial role, aligned with the Accident, Health, & Travel Strategic Business Unit, leads the pricing of new and renewal business as well as the development of effective premium/rating structure and strategies in support of business objectives including new products and product enhancements of Leisure Travel.

The salary range for this role in any US State is $151,500-$189,400. The Salary range for this role in New York City is $189,400-$236,800. This is the range Zurich NA in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state or New York City, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
