What You’ll Do:
Plan, lead and execute multiple complex finance projects, coordinating with key participants within and outside of the Finance department
Schedule and facilitate discussions of business changes through collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to define and document overall project goals, system & process design, deliverables, and timeline
Own the ongoing delivery of strategic projects including progress tracking, issue identification, escalation, resolution support, status reporting and stakeholder communication
Organize and conduct pre- and post-launch activities including UAT, training, process documentation and system support
Establish strong relationships within Finance, IT, and other key business partners
Assist in the resolution of production issues and help troubleshoot project questions as they arise
Ability to scope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment, respond calmly and rationally in a constantly changing, deadline driven environment
Experience & Qualifications:
5+ years of finance or IT experience preferred
Minimum of 3 years of scrum experience preferred.
Minimum of 3 years leadership experience on finance or IT projects preferred.
Bachelors in finance, business, accounting, IT, or relevant field of study preferred
Project Management certification preferred
Thorough understanding and experience working with both agile and waterfall methodologies on large scale projects
Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Must be self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
Data-driven analytical skills for measuring and managing delivery
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent documentation skills – spreadsheets are your friends, but so are JIRA boards and ticket queues
Proven experience to deal with ambiguity
Extremely organized and willingness to help others become organized
