Job Summary

WebBank is seeking a seasoned portfolio manager to oversee and manage this highly strategic, and rapidly expanding book of business for the bank. This is a client-facing role in addition to internal reporting and management duties. You will be our “eyes and ears” for all asset-backed transactions post-closing.

Primary Responsibilities (Job Duties)

You Will:

• Create, oversee, and manage reporting systems that track the Bank’s asset-backed exposures
• Have a deep understanding of asset-backed facility structures and legal documentation
• Prepare periodic reporting for the team and senior management detailing the performance of portfolio positions, including: utilization, asset performance and variance analyses, and covenant compliance etc
• Take the lead on amendments, upsizes, changes to existing portfolio credits dealing directly with associated counterparties
• Identify and communicate industry trends that may affect existing credits, including suggesting remedial actions
• Spearhead periodic (post-close) due diligence of bank asset finance counterparties and work closely with WebBank credit teams to keep them informed as to individual facility performance
• Assist deal structuring teams in documentation, closing and funding processes working with WebBank middle- and back-office functions

Qualifications

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics
• 5-10 years’ experience in asset finance portfolio management
• Prior experience in banking, investment banking, credit or hedge fund environment
• Independent thinker
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically advanced knowledge of Excel or database management software
• Intellectual curiosity
• Collaborative, communicative team-player

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics
• Management experience/familiarity with presenting to executive suite
