Position Summary
The Finance and Operations Manager leads the operations (non program execution) aspect of Olin’s Executive Education. The Executive Education is a strategic area of brand awareness, revenue growth and alumni engagement, both nationally and globally. Working in concert with the Program Director and Managing Director ensure the systems and operations can support revenue targets and growth of executive education in both Washington DC and STL.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Budget and Financial Administration:
Day-to-day management of financial operations, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts, receivable, program budgets, revenue reconciliation and financial reporting.
Collaborate with Olin accounting and Brookings Institution accounting to manage financial compliance/goals.
Conduct ongoing analysis on enrollment, revenue, cost and trends to help with developing strategic goals.
Work with the Program Director and Associate Deans on custom program budgets and proposals. Support annual budget process for the based on key strategic initiatives and market outreach plan.
Operations and Administration:
Make recommendations to streamline and find efficiencies of policies and procedures.
Serve as responsible for operations and maintain compliance (HELC, DCRA, Tax).
Serve as responsible for working with Brookings, Olin and vendors for IT.
Liaison to the Olin CRM team and serve as a member on the Center of Excellence committee.
Compile rankings data needs in conjunction with the Dean’s office.
Liaison with Brookings facilities team.
Team Management:
Day-to-day management of operations team staff in oversight role on partner and student registration and transactions.
Working Conditions
The ability to travel regularly between campuses is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree.
Five years of experience, including in accounting or finance.
Experience in non-profit or university settings.
Proven ability to manage financial and budget operations.
Ability to supervise.
Extensive database and spreadsheets skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders (faculty, vendors, colleagues etc.).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree and three years of professional work experience or an equivalent education and experience.
Proficient computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Salary Range
$53,900.00 – $92,200.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one’s qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
