Job Summary:

As a Supervisor, Finance, you will manage functions including job cost accounting, shop floor data collection, labor and material inventories, management reporting, financial analysis, and manufacturing performance analysis.

Essential Functions:

• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes is also required.
• Implement, train and support all functions of the shop floor data collection system.
• Manage all aspects of company cost accounting system, including job costing as well as labor and raw materials inventory management.
• Manage manufacturing shop floor data collection, assuring accuracy of all labor and material costs, and providing training to plant personnel as required.
• Manage annual physical inventory count and produce year-ending inventory audit package for labor and materials inventory.
• Provide financial analysis and manufacturing performance analysis as needed by upper management to make strategic decisions.
• Provide key reporting as required in all areas of sales/cost/margin, quality, labor, manufacturing performance, inventory/absorption, and departmental activity.
• Provide effective project management, which includes assigning, prioritizing and monitoring project workload, and reporting of open backlog and completed projects.
• Provide cost assessments for method or process changes.
• Assist internal customers with cost/process analyses by serving on project teams, providing research, and presenting information as needed.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and four years experience in financial analysis or progressive accounting responsibilities OR Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and six years experience in financial analysis or progressive accounting responsibilities
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows based databases.
