About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Aortic Business Finance Manager to join our team. You will play a key role within the Medical Products Division finance group and the Aortic business group.
This position offers multiple work arrangements, including on-site at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. Hybrid and fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*
Responsibilities:
Own the business group’s short-term and long-term financial forecasting processes
Support development of financial analysis for merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities
Partner with associates to support the division’s annual cadence of strategic planning, operational planning, and financial forecasting
Develop complex financial models (e.g., NPV) to support leadership decision-making related to new product development, product portfolio analysis, profitability of new opportunities, capital investments, revenue models, and profit margin analysis to influence investment optimization
Establish financial metrics for new products and services – delivering operational and financial performance data for quarterly business reviews and monthly reporting processes while identifying variances and key trends for the Peripheral business
Develop, analyze, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on improving functional performance – Becoming an integral member of the finance functional team by supporting and/or leading Divisional/Enterprise initiatives as needed
Develop knowledge that demonstrates active learning about the medical device business and products that are manufactured and sold by Gore
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business (MBA preferred)
Minimum 5 years of progressive finance and business analysis experience
Demonstrated passion for and either experience in, or aptitude to quickly learn, sophisticated financial modeling tools
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Power Point
Demonstrated experience with financial system reporting tools
Demonstrated skills: analytical thinking and problem solving, collaboration and relationship building, supporting cross-functional teams
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and integrate across project, functional, and business leadership teams to drive business outcomes
Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience with Oracle Crystal Ball (or other risk-based modeling tools), COGNOS TM1 (or similar financial systems) and ERP systems
Experience working in the healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical industries
Experience in a global manufacturing environment with responsibilities that include strategic planning, analysis, and portfolio management
