Responsibilities:
PERFORMS REQUIRED MANAGERIAL AND SUPERVISORY DUTIES OF PERSONNEL AND ACTIVITIES IN THE FORCE SUPPORT AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY.
RESPONSIBLE FOR BUDGETING AND EXECUTING APPROPRIATED AND NON-APPROPRIATED FUNDS AS REQUIRED.
DEVELOPS, EVALUATES, EXECUTES AND CONTINUOUSLY REVIEWS BUDGETS, STRATEGIC PLANS, MARKETING PLANS AND 5 YEAR PLANS.
ESTABLISHES AND MAINTAINS APPLICABLE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS, TO INCLUDE REQUIRED FIRST AID, FIRST RESPONDER, LIFESAVING, AND SAFETY ASPECTS.
SERVES AS THE DIVISION FOCAL POINT FOR VECTRUS SAFETY PROGRAM EXECUTION WITHIN THE FORCE SUPPORT WORK CENTERS.
ADHERES TO APPLICABLE AIR FORCE MORALE WELFARE AND RECREATION AND FORCE SUPPORT STANDARDS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REQUIREMENTS AND SEEKS CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND ENHANCEMENT.
ENSURES COMPLIANCE WITH ALL PRIVACY ACT AND PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS IN ALL APPLICABLE SERVICE AREAS AS DIRECTED BY DOD AND AIR FORCE GUIDANCE AND INSTRUCTIONS.
DIRECTS THE CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEMS AS REQUIRED TO CORRECTLY MANAGE FUNDS, INVENTORIES, PROPERTIES, AND FACILITIES.
CONDUCTS SITE VISITS TO GEOGRAPHICALLY SEPARATED RECREATION AREAS AS REQUIRED TO ENSURE PROPER PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF RESOURCES AND FACILITIES TO MEET THE CUSTOMER DEMAND MISSION.
DIRECTLY INTERFACES WITH PROGRAM MANAGEMENT FINANCE MANAGER TO ENSURE THE CORRECT USAGE OF CORPORATE FUNDS; MONITORS AND APPROVES BUDGET TRANSACTIONS AND ANALYZES SPENDING TRENDS TO MATCH REQUIREMENTS TO EXISTING RESOURCES FOR MISSION COMPLETION.
WORKS WITH PROGRAM MANAGEMENT CONTRACT AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVES TO PROCURE NECESSARY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT ALONG WITH GOVERNMENT- FURNISHED EQUIPMENT
WORKS WITH PROGRAM MANAGEMENT HR REPRESENTATIVES AS REQUIRED TO ADDRESS AND RESOLVE WORKPLACE ISSUES FOR BOTH COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND EXEMPT EMPLOYEES.
RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPER 24/7 EXECUTION OF ALL OPERATIONAL ASPECTS OF THE FORCE SUPPORT SECTION (COMPRISED OF COMMUNITY SERVICES, PERSONNEL SERVICES, AND ELEMENTS OF RESOURCE MANAGEMENT) AS SET FORTH IN THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT.
ROUTINELY INTERFACES WITH CUSTOMER/CONTRACTING SUPPORT PERSONNEL TO ENSURE THE EXECUTION OF PERSONNEL SERVICES FOR MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE AND GUNTER ANNEX.
COMMUNICATES DIRECTLY WITH THE FORCE SUPPORT SQUADRON COMMANDER (SERVING AS THE GOVERNMENT CUSTOMER) ON DAILY OPERATIONS AND EXECUTION ISSUES; WORKS TO ELIMINATE PROBLEMS OR ISSUES BASED ON THAT FEEDBACK WITH SUBORDINATE COMMUNITY SERVICES AND PERSONNEL SERVICES SUPERVISORS.
RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPILING ALL DIVISION PERFORMANCE AND COMPLIANCE DATA AND METRICS CONCERNING ALL ASPECTS OF CONTRACT EXECUTION FOR THE PROGRAM QUALITY DEPARTMENT; DEVELOPS AND EXECUTES CORRECTIVE ACTIONS FOR NON-COMPLIANCE ASPECTS AS REQUIRED.
ATTENDS THE REGULAR PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT COUNCIL WITH SENIOR CONTRACTING REPRESENTATIVES, THE PROGRAM MANAGER, AND THE 42 ABW MISSION SUPPORT GROUP COMMANDER TO REVIEW PERFORMANCE METRICS AND IDENTIFY NEGATIVE PERFORMANCE TRENDS.
PERFORMS ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACTUAL, FUNCTIONAL, AND MISSION REQUIREMENTS.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ONE YEAR RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ONE YEAR OF EDUCATION, IF DEGREE IS REQUIRED.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
A BACHELORS OR MASTER’S DEGREE IN RECREATION MANAGEMENT, PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (OR ASSOCIATED DISCIPLINE) OR A COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF THE AIR FORCE ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN RECREATION MANAGEMENT
MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
EXPERIENCE:
A MINIMUM OF 8 YEARS’ WITH BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR 4 YEARS’ WITH MASTER’S DEGREE OF DEMONSTRATED EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE AS A SENIOR MEMBER LEADING A USAF MORALE, WELFARE, AND RECREATION, MISSION SUPPORT, OR FORCE SUPPORT SQUADRON HIGHLY DESIRED. ADDITIONAL SENIOR- LEVEL EXPERIENCE IN THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE IN A STAFF SETTING AT WING-LEVEL OR HIGHER ORGANIZATION ALSO HIGHLY DESIRED.
SKILLS:
COMPUTER/KEYBOARD SKILLS REQUIRED. KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE (WORD, ACCESS, EXCEL AND OUTLOOK) OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION SKILLS (ORAL AND WRITTEN).FAMILIARITY WITH AIR FORCE STAFF CORRESPONDENCE AND ASSOCIATED REQUIREMENTS. EXTREMELY WELL DEVELOPED SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL SKILLS.
