Job Title: Finance Director
Location: Southfield, MI (Fully Onsite)
Position Overview: As the Vice President of Finance, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our healthcare organization. This role requires a dynamic financial professional who can drive financial growth, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide financial leadership in a fully onsite capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with our organizational goals and objectives, providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and board of directors.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure accurate financial projections and resource allocation.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of precise and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, while presenting financial information to the executive team and board of directors.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and healthcare industry requirements. Monitor and mitigate financial risks.
Capital Management: Manage the organization’s capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to support strategic initiatives and optimize financial performance.
Financial Operations: Supervise day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and revenue cycle management, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Investment Management: Oversee the organization’s investment portfolio, ensuring prudent investment practices and maximizing returns while mitigating risk.
Cost Control: Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising patient care quality.
Contract Negotiations: Actively participate in contract negotiations with vendors, payers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms and enhance financial outcomes.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and guidance to nurture talent within the department.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners, financial institutions, and stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and potential collaborations.
