Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specilaist

Currently looking for a AP/AR Specilaist to join their team in the Westport, CT area. Our client is a global import/export company that has had record growth over the last 5 years.

Primary responsibilities of the Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Associate:

• The AP/AR Specilaist will work in a high-volume environment and will be responsible for the full AP/AR cycle.
• 3-way matching of invoices, to packing slip, to invoice.
• The AP/AR Specilaist will reconcile monthly AP to the general ledger.
• The AP/AR Specilaist will provide exceptional customer service in regards to billing inquiries.
• Work with division managers and internal leaders to resolve invoice issues.
• Will work closely with company Controller and CFO to determine weekly check runs, and resolve any discrepancies.

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specilaist requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of previous experience in payables in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with 3-way matching
• Strong MS Excel skills
• ERP experience required
• Excellent communication and technical skills
