As a Transfer Pricing Sr. Manager, your focus will be on transfer pricing planning and operations. You will have the opportunity to engage in international tax, corporate finance, effective tax rate planning and forecasting, and tax technology initiatives. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of tax matters.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S., or at the UnitedHealth Group Headquarters in Minnetonka, MN, as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead in working with internal and external resources on transfer pricing planning opportunities
Manage advisors in planning related projects
Work with business leaders to understand, analyze and connect business value drivers with transfer pricing overall strategy
Manage transfer pricing compliance activities and ensure they are completed timely and accurately
Oversee and review the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing calculations and analysis
Partner closely with global Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Legal and Tax teams to establish, monitor and maintain intercompany charges for cross-border transactions
Manage tax modeling & forecasting
Support global transfer pricing audits
Develop thorough knowledge of Company’s enterprise-wide financial accounting and reporting systems
Work closely with other members of the Tax Department to support domestic and/or international tax projects as needed

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or comparable education
8+ years of tax or accounting experience, preferably with a Fortune 500 corporate tax or finance department or International CPA firm
Transfer Pricing experience
Working knowledge and solid ability to apply accounting concepts
Intermediate proficiency in Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA and/or MST
Solid communication and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environment
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Solid writing and quantitative skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
