Full-Charge Bookkeeper (full-cycle Accounting Exp. Req.) Description
Our client, a boutique law firm, is looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join them in Oakland County, MI. This is an onsite position. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the primary accounting contributor and isn’t looking to manage any direct reports. Someone who likes the variety of overseeing the day-to-day but also has the responsibility of generating financial statements and compiling financial reports. If you pride yourself on the depth and breadth of your accounting knowledge including debts and credits, P&L statements, and reconciliations, you could be exactly what they’re looking for. They’re a smaller firm so you’ll work closely with each of their lawyers making a collaborative, communicative approach to partnership a must to work well with this Team. Full-Charge Bookkeeper (full-cycle Accounting Exp. Req.) Responsibilities
Create and issue invoices to clients monthly
Enter and manage vendor payments
Report monthly billable work of lawyers
Oversee and process payroll
Manage reconciliations of each account
Record and maintain financial transactions
Confirm the accuracy of GL entries
Prepare balance sheets and P&L statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
Prepare and present financial reporting
Full-Charge Bookkeeper (full-cycle Accounting Exp. Req.) Qualifications
Hands-on experience preparing each financial statement required
Well-versed with reconciliations (bank and credit) required
QuickBooks Desktop Experience Required
Advanced Excel skills required
