Jobsummary
An opportunity has arisenfor a technically minded Finance Manager. This is an exciting andchallenging role reporting into the Group CFO in our London HQ.
This is a handson role in a fast paced high pressure environmentwhere the successful candidate must be an effective communicatorcommercially minded and have the analytical skills to interpretcomplex data.
Providing commercial support to the business theFinance Manager will play a pivotal role in maximising margins andproviding insight.
At TLC Marketing our Local Finance Managersoperate wearing a double hat with the HR Function and providePeople support. This involves basic HR functions which aresupported the Group People Director based inLondon
Keyresponsibilities
1. Analyse andinterpret campaign performance
2. Payrollcalculate commission and allowances forpayroll
3. Servicing the local statutoryrequirements for year end including filing on time and working withHQ to coordinate deliverables
4. Reconciliationson a monthly basis of project Balance Sheet accounts incl. DebtorsCreditors Accruals Prepayments etc
5. Partneringwith both the client and suppliers to enable smooth campaigndelivery
6. Advise on pricing for new campaignsand attendance of weekly ICC meetings to influence sales decisionsand strategies
7. Budgets construction of annualbudgets and H2 reforecasts
8. Cash Flowsmanagement of project cashflow working with creditors and theclient
9. Analysing and interpreting managementaccounts
10. Local board member which entailsattending monthly board meetings and delivering presentationsconcerning financials
11. Assisting HQ with adhocprojects such as tax planning transfer pricing and statutorycompliance
Skills andqualifications
Has experience ofworking in an SME environment
Demonstrableexperience in a Finance Dept.
Familiar withmanipulating and interpreting data
Excellentreporting skills and able to clearly present work that is easy tointerpret and accurate
Good verbal communicationskills and can build effective working relationships withcolleagues
Experience of working inunpredictable environment; can deal with unplanned changes to tasksand workloads and successfully handle several tasks at any onetime
Make decisions in the commercial interestsof the business. Remains aware of any new and emerging practicesand looks to make improvements to processes and reporting toimprove effectiveness
Highly skilled in Exceland has used an ERP System (MS Dynamics NAV anadvantage)
