The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) is a world-class entertainment and technological leader. Walt’s passion was to continuously envision new ways to move audiences around the world—a passion that remains our touchstone in an enterprise that stretches from theme parks, resorts and a cruise line to sports, news, movies, and a variety of other businesses. Uniting each endeavor is a dedication to creating and delivering unforgettable experiences — and we are constantly looking for new ways to improve these exciting experiences.
Do you want to be a part of a team that creates magic for millions of guests across all of the Disney brands? Behind the scenes, the Enterprise Technology team helps deliver magical digital experiences demonstrating the latest technology; and our teams provide knowledgeable engineering services building critical core platforms and systems to support the innovation and operation of TWDC.
The Release Planner will work with the Sr Manager. of Agile Delivery to establish the baseline understanding our current state processes related to release management across the functional areas in Core Systems & Platforms (CSP), the tools and data available related to those processes and provide the inputs to establish an MVP for generating a consistent Quarterly Release Schedule. This role will help to determine the scope of applications, products and services that will be included in the initial scope of that release reporting and incremental process improvements that are expected to align teams to a consistent approach to ensure a CSP wide Release Schedule. Lastly, you will partner with the Sr. Manager of Agile Delivery and CSP leadership to continue to mature the processes vital to deliver quality release management for future goals and objectives.
