As Finance Director your primary support will be towards the Americas region together with another Finance Business Partner, and you are expected to engage globally to drive development within own team and towards the global logistics organization.
Logistics capabilities are increasing becoming a key value proportion towards shoppers and consequently, logistics networks across the globe are going through significant transformations in these years – including ours. As Finance Director AMS you will act as Finance Business Partner towards the Americas Supply Chain Operations Vice President and play an exciting – and key – role ‘in playing our part’ to succeed with this transformation.
Finance Business Partner for own business area (VP)
Integrated business leadership team member
Sets financial direction and provide financial insights to business decisions
Drive productivity roadmap
Co-drive design of future network/capabilities
Partner with commercial side of the business to drive distribution related efficiencies
Drive synergies across regions
Role has global reach. Role will act as functional lead on selected areas within team, this position is working closely with 5 central persons and 3 regional persons within the team and together with a local organization of +50 employee
The right person will drive better decisions across our distribution and planning network by providing solid financials analysis
Master degree in finance relevant topic (Management accounting etc.) Cand. Merc. or similar.
Need to be in Boston.
+8 years of finance business partnering experience
Commercial Finance and/or logistics experience
Strong collaboration/networking competencies
Strong analytical and communication (written & verbal) skills
Passionate networker and connector with ability to influence and inspire change
Thrives in an environment where informal leadership is paramount for success
Courage, curiosity & confidence
Take initiatives and acts on opportunities
Core ResponsibilitiesFinance Business Partners advise and support the business in areas related to future state financial performance including:
Finance consulting and coaching (e.g., interpreting financial results and measures in the context of business operations)
Providing forward looking financial insight on market conditions, competitors, and alternative business scenarios
Improving the quality of internal and external financial data to drive business decision making and performance
