Today The HIND Group (THG) is expanding into North America, focusing on the United States first and we are looking for great people to join our team.
Purpose:
With the expansion of THG’s brands across North America, THG needs a Social Media Manager who will help us build and grow the Social Media Team.
Social Media Strategies: The SMM will need to work closely with the VPs of each venture to develop various strategies that increase brand exposure and create a positive impact for the venture across their markets.
Recruitment: The SMM must be skilled in recruitment and will work with THG Talent to create a recruitment strategy for the Social Media Team that allows them to develop and grow.
People Management: The SMM will be a skilled People Manager and will be responsible for the mentoring of all Social Media Administrators and Specialists creating a strong career path at THG and allowing them to succeed in their roles.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall Management of the Social Media Team.
2. Recruitment and Career development of the staff in the Social Media Team
3. Development of the Social Media strategies for each brand & venture within THG.
4. Running company social media advertising campaigns.
5. Formulating high-quality novel written and visual content for each social media campaign.
6. Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
7. Monitoring the company’s brands on social media.
8. Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers
9. Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
10. Responding to comments on each of our accounts.
11. Overseeing customer service provided via social media.
12. Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
13. Coaching employees company-wide on content creation best practices.

Competency Profile
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
Essential
Broad background and experience in Social Media
Strong understanding of each individual platform (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
Extensive experience in People Management
Adept to company’s software Zoho One
Strong command of the English Language (both Written and Verbal)
Strong desire to succeed
Experience in creation of strategies and documentation to support those strategies.
Must have 3-5 years of experience in media advertising, degree in any business related field
