Established in 1974, Davidson Hotels & Resorts is a leader in the hospitality industry and a rapidly growing hotel company. We offer full service hospitality management, development, acquisition, accounting, and consulting expertise for the lodging industry. Our portfolio of hotels is focused on 3 and 4 star properties such as Hilton, Embassy Suites, Doubletree, Renaissance, Marriott, Westin, Sheraton, Hyatt Regency, Radisson and impressive Independent and Select Service Hotels.
The Controller supervises and directs the financial activities of the hotel including AP, AR, credit and collections, payroll, cash management, internal controls, auditing, general ledger, financial statements, taxes, and budgeting. The Controller safeguards the assets and prepares all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Qualified candidate must be able to implement and monitor internal controls, be familiar with all aspects of accounting department (night audit, accounts receivable/payable, general cashier and payroll), prepare budgets and forecasts, must be computer literate and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Also serves as a financial advisor of the Hotel Management team and Ownership.
BA or BS degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in the industry preferred
Required statistics math level
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members
High attention to detail and strong time management skills
