Your role at Clorox:
The Logistics Assistant Manager within the Logistics Finance team is responsible for leading the Total Company Logistics Forecast process, supporting the Logistics Close process, and overseeing the Domestic Warehousing Forecast and Close processes. The Assistant Manager’s main responsibility is to provide clear and accurate financial reporting and analysis to concisely summarize business insights to management to promote action and support decision making. The Assistant Manager will gain business insights by developing a close business relationship with the Logistics team and the Business Units. The successful candidate works well with others, both in Finance and cross-functionally, has an eagerness to learn, and enjoys continuous improvement.
In this role, you will:
Lead total Logistics consolidation activities for the forecast and close, including presentations to senior leaders in Operations and Finance. Lead quarterly forecast process for total logistics, including direct analysis of Cleaning Division transportation (50% of time)
Provide coaching, training, and development to 1 direct report and oversee Total Company Domestic Warehousing processes (20% of time)
Identify and implement sustainable process improvements and automation to drive efficiencies and actionable insights. Be the point-of-contact and expert for Project Elevate as we transition into new forecast/planning processes and tools (20% of time)
Provide financial leadership for major initiatives and strategic supply chain projects, to inform choices in design and execution; Agile process initiatives to improve reporting, reduce effort, and drive value. (10% of time)
What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience: 4 to 6 years of finance and accounting experience; CPG industry a plus
Education Level/Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA certification a plus
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; SAP, Tableau, Essbase, and SQL experience preferred
Motivated and takes ownership of tasks and projects. Values a team environment
Comfortable with large data management and ambiguity
Knowledge of cost accounting and process concepts/tools/systems
Well organized with the ability to plan, prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines
Strong business curiosity to find insights and solid analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and to communicate and influence at all levels
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement the appropriate process modifications
Understanding of U.S GAAP/IFRS and financial statements

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
-Zone A: $86,600 – $161,900
-Zone B: $79,400 – $148,400
-Zone C: $72,100 – $134,900

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
