GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES:
This role will be the key finance decision support leader for the North America Go to Market strategy focused on supporting the 3 key channels (Direct, Key Accounts and Distribution) encompassing Equipment, Service & Parts & Consumable business.
The role will require the management and development of 4 direct reports
Provide the VP North America Sales and Channel Leaders with effective financial reporting, actionable information, analysis of past performance, and insights into key drivers of future performance, to enhance decision-making and budget management
Lead forecast, month-end financial reporting, and AOP process for North America Sales & Service organization by Channel, Area, Product and Customer.
Work closely with the Sales & Service organization to understand strategies, priorities, cost drivers, and benefits.
Support the North America sales organization to understand strategies, pricing, compensation models, rebates/discount schemes
Provide financial analysis support for business cases and investments with post implementation audits to track performance.
Provide analysis of key operational drivers to support financial analysis.
Deliver detailed gross and operating margin reporting on monthly basis.
Develop a strong collaboration with Sales Operations and Plant Operations to develop a transparent and more informative order to delivery communication model.
Develop strong working relationship with Marketing organization to ensure alignment and tracking of marketing initiatives implemented to support the sales organization.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree with accounting or finance major. MBA a plus.
5 plus years of progressive finance experience primarily gained within Financial Planning, Operations Finance or Commercial Finance environment
Strong systems and technical knowledge preferably with SAP.
Advanced proficiency with Excel along with knowledge and experience with other management reporting applications
Strong process mindset. Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
