Fiscal Officer – Directs the activities and functions of the Fiscal Department including responsibility for the budgeting, accounting system, cash management, accounts payable, payroll operations. Ensures that department activities comply with all relevant federal, state and local regulations. Establishes internal control structure to ensure protection of agency assets. Directs the preparation of statements and reports on financial affairs for administrative team, Board of Directors and general public. Minimum educational requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Financial Management; five years experience managing financial/accounting operations with multiple funding streams, preferably in a non-profit environment, knowledge of Head Start strongly desired.
