Present extended service contracts and other owner protection programs available to customers utilizing the menu selling process.
Abide by federal, state, and company regulations when preparing paperwork, finalizing financial transactions, setting interest rates, and working with lending institutions.
Keep abreast of and ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations regarding the automotive industry and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Review customer credit applications.
Maintain CSI at or above Company standards.
Assure all deals are accurately booked.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Act as liaison between the customer and the lending institution.
Communicate all problem deals to management immediately.
Address missing stipulations communicated from the lender immediately.
Maintain a good working relationship with finance sources, including lenders and manufacturers, to ensure the best relationships with internal and external customers.
Know and implement dealership policies and procedures.
Assist with resolution of customer complaints.
Adhere to a standard of professional ethics and be respectful to staff and customers.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Attend manager meetings as requested.
Perform all duties requested from management.
Operate with integrity
Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
Set an example of outstanding attendance, positive attitude, professionalism, including orderly and safe work environment.
Communicate and resolve customer complaints.
Job Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive F&I Manager is preferred.
CDK, RouteOne, eLeads experience preferred.
Ability to deliver all retail deliveries and complete necessary paperwork to complaint standards.
Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency, and general mathematic skills.
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
Proven knowledge of effective sales strategies and best practices.
Substantial track record of exceeding sales quotas and goals.
Excellent leadership skills and keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and outgoing and service-oriented attitude.
The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase manufacturer knowledge.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and state sales license.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate
objects, tools, or controls.
Required to lift up to a minimum of 25 lbs.
Required vision including close vision.
