The ideal candidate has an authentic passion for the Sports and Entertainment industries and proven experience planning and executing campaigns across multiple social platforms. As a Social Media Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring creativity and innovation through every step of the project, driven by the intersection of social media, technology, sports, and pop culture. This position will be required to content plan, schedule posts, write copy, ideate, and bring campaigns to life.
Job Type:
This role is part-time on a project basis but we’d love to have you working on awesome projects as part of the herd. If your goal is to become a full-time social media manager and there isn’t a position open quite yet, this is also a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
Own social strategy, planning, and posting for Social Media Management clients
Stay in the know and on top of the latest trending topics
Perform effective community management
Ideate and pitch new concepts to existing and potential clients
Stay on top of creative and social trends to build strategic content
Follow established voice and tone per brand book for copywriting needs
Understand clients’ social audiences and tendencies for content and community management strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of the social and digital media landscape
1-3 years of experience working with high-profile brands preferred
On-trend with the latest news in sports and entertainment
Thorough, organized, and dependable
Creative thinker with a critical eye
Preferred Skills:
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or other design software
Mac OS Knowledge is a plus
Google Suite/Google Workspace experience is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
