The Senior Manager, Finance Training & Development (FTD) will develop strategies and oversee execution of our early-career talent and pipeline programs including: The Finance & Accounting Rotational (FAR) leadership development program, the finance internship program and our campus recruiting activities. In addition, the role will serve on the FTD leadership team, providing input on all training and development programs and taking ownership in shaping the strategic direction of the department.

What You Will Do:
Provide strategic input on all FTD programs and initiatives, ensure we are maximizing team members’ growth and development, and allocate resources based on expected ROI
Set the strategy for the Finance & Accounting Rotational (FAR) leadership development program and deliver value-add program enhancements
Direct FAR program management, building sustainable and scalable processes
Ensure the FAR program maximizes both analyst engagement and value to the business
Set the strategy for all existing finance talent pipeline programs including: recruiting strategy and campus brand, the finance Stryker Internship Program and the Golden Ticket Invitational recruiting process
Partner to select talent for the finance internship and Finance & Accounting Rotational (FAR) program
Identify and propose new initiatives to strengthen Stryker’s ability to attract strong and diverse finance talent
Support FTD’s training activities as needed, including facilitating Core trainings and delivering virtual trainings on technical finance & accounting topics
What You Need:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Certification preferred (CPA, CMA, CIA)
10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or related roles
A minimum of 3 years of management experience required, management of early talent preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Financial certification (CPA, CMA, CIA, CFA, CTP) or MBA strongly preferred
Ability to manage large complex projects independently and lead projects to completion
Demonstrated ability to develop others
Experience leading teams and stakeholders through change
