Positioned for aggressive expansion, they are on the lookout for a seasoned CFO with an extensive background in capital raising, particularly from venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) entities.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership: Lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting. Direct and oversee all financial activities, from daily operations to long-term financial planning.
• Capital Raising: Leverage VC/PE networks and experience to secure the necessary capital for growth and expansion. Understand the intricacies of the insurtech space and how to communicate the value proposition to potential investors effectively. Financial Reporting: Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting. Comply with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with other executive leaders and board members, providing them with accurate financial data and strategic recommendations.
• Risk Management: Oversee the company’s risk management processes and ensure the business is safeguarded from potential financial threats.
• Budget Management: Prepare comprehensive budgets and ensure that the company operates within these forecasts. Identify and drive cost-saving measures where applicable

Required:

10+ years finance experience with 3+ years at CFO level. Must have been in an Insurtech environment where you have demonstratable VC/PE capital raises.

MBA / CPA preferred.
