Primary Purpose
Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, the Corporate Finance department is responsible for the planning, execution, reporting, and
back-office management of long-term debt, equity, and derivatives transactions for Sempra and its domestic and foreign affiliates.
The group represents the eyes and ears of the capital markets for the organization and works closely with multiple groups to
support market-based analysis, including reviewing strategic investments and decisions to determine impact on balance sheet
and credit. The group also manages rating-agency relationships for Sempra and its U.S. rated affiliates.
The Senior Financial analyst reports to the Corporate Finance Manager and supports the group’s activities by carrying out a
diverse set of analytical activities and interacting with internal groups and outside advisors. The primary responsibilities of this
position are to support Treasury across multiple functions with analysis, financial reporting, capital markets and derivatives
analysis and execution, presentation materials preparation, and research. While covering a broad scope of activities, the Senior
Financial Analyst will deliver results to multiple internal and external stakeholders for highly visible projects.
