If you are a motivated problem solver and passionate about establishing and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, you could succeed in this role.
You will support the business by developing, administering and maintaining the network infrastructure, making sure that the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available.
You should be comfortable working with constantly changing software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems.
A key part of this role will be participating in ongoing education to remain up to date and fully informed.
This Network Administrator is a permanent role in the Cleveland, Ohio, area.
Your responsibilities- Providing control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam- Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrades- Controlling the operation of services related to all local area networks and wide area networks, while adhering to company policies and procedures- Troubleshooting and fixing local area networks / wide area network problems, including performance, connectivity and related issues – Previous experience in production environments and being on-call- Exceptional skills in troubleshooting, analytics and diagnostics- Expertise in network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations- ARISTA experience highly preferred- WANs (Wide Area Network) experience highly desired- Solid understanding of Microsoft SCCM – System Cntr Config MgrExperience with VeloCloud, Palo Alto, Veritas Backup Exec and/or Veeam is a plus.
– General familiarity with Microsoft Office 365- Adeptness in Active Directory- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Azure- Foundational knowledge in LAN (local area networks)- Command of Microsoft SCCM- Practical knowledge of Cisco Hardware- 2
