Robert Half Looking for Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Orange County, CA Full Time

Our client is looking to hire a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. The Financial Planning and Analysis Director is responsible for the finance function for a large division. The position provides financial leadership and drives operational & financial performance.

• Collect, consolidate, prepare and analyze operational and financial performance metrics relevant to standard FPA practices
• Develop and measures KPIs to track the performance of the business to plan
• Provide key input for monthly performance reviews. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities against budget and forecast.
• Provide financial analysis, reporting and decision-making support for key business activities including: Sales and margin analysis; Customer and product-line profitability analysis; Commercial review (pricing, terms, level of service, etc.); Operational performance; Working Capital management and maximization of Operating Cash Flow, Standard Cost Analysis

Requirements:

• 5-10 years global FP&A experience including providing financial analysis reporting and decision making to support key business activities in a similar organization
• 5+ years developing key business metrics and tracking performance of the business plan while ensuring metrics are consistent and meaningful
