Robert Half is looking for a Finance Manager to join a well-respected company. As part of the management team, the director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
- Maintains and reviews budgeting and forecasting models
- Supervise financial planning and budget management functions
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
- Decide on benchmarks for comparing the operating and financial performance
- Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal
- Manage the preparation of all financial reports
- Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans
- Oversee all hiring aspects of finance staff, including training and retention
- Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department
- Oversee insurance and risk management
- Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
- Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedure
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting required
- Certified Public Accountant and / or advanced degree in accounting preferred
Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting preferred
- Minimum of 3 years managerial experience preferred
- Health care and / or public auditing experience preferred
